Definition: An Access method is used to recognize the right to access a parking in order to perform access control.
Why are the access methods relevant?
It is important for you to know the available access methods. This allows you to have different alternatives to enter the parking.
Please note that the availability of the access method depends the setup of your account and is managed by the administrator. You will find further information on how to find the access method available to you below.
What access methods does Izix offer?

App (Remote) |
The authenticated users have access to an “Open” button in the mobile app that they can use to open the gate. |
ANPR (Plate) |
Some gates have a camera with an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system, that reads the plate of the car and opens the gate automatically. (If the license plate has been inserted correctly in your "Vehicle information". |
Keypad (Code)

Some gates have a keypad where you can enter your secret code to open the gate. This code contains 6 numbers and ends with an # |
URL |
For visitors only, they receive a link by email to be used with the mobile phone. It opens a web page similar to the mobile app with an “open gate” button. |
How can I add additional access methods?
For existing access strategies, you may want to adjust the access methods. An administrator can do this via:
Parking list -> Select the respective parking -> Management of accesses -> Click on "Show" on the respective access strategy -> Edit the entrance method
