Izix app: How does the Izix application work?
Use the Izix app to access your parking (with ANPR or mobile remote control) and book a spot if your organisation requires booking.

A remote control in Izix is the digital gate remote available in the Izix app. It lets you open the parking gate from your smartphone (when mobile access is enabled for your parking).
1. Why should I use the Izix app?
The Izix app helps you:
- Access the parking without a physical remote.
- Enter with ANPR (license plate recognition) when your site is equipped for it.
- Book a parking spot when booking is required.
- Manage key profile details like your license plate.
2. How do I use it?
Before you start
- Make sure your organisation has created your Izix profile and you received an invite.
- Install the app:
- Minimum requirements:
- Android 9+ and iOS 14+.
- Make sure the Izix app has camera and location permissions enabled (especially for mobile access).
Overview
The app interface can differ depending on your access rights, active bookings, and whether your site uses ANPR, mobile access, or both.
Most versions of the app are organised into tabs (for example Remotes, Booking, Profile).
If you have access to more than one organisation with the same email address, you may see an option to switch organisation.
Remote (mobile access)
Use Remotes when your parking is configured for mobile access.
How to use it:

- Open the Izix app.
- Go to Access.

- Select the relevant remote (if you have more than one).
- Use the remote when you are at the gate.
If you see “You are too far from the gate” This is usually related to geolocation settings or opening the app too early.

If you do not see any remote

- You may be missing access rights.
- Or you may need to book first (if your access requires booking).
Start by contacting your parking or office administrator.
Booking (if your site requires it)
Some sites require booking before you can park.
If you cannot book, it is often because booking is not enabled for your access rights or the parking is full.
Cancel a booking
Izix does not cancel bookings on behalf of users. If you cannot cancel, contact your parking or office administrator.

Profile
In the app, you can usually update basic information such as your name and license plate.
