After you have received the access type "Booking", you will need to book your spot, to be able to access the parking lot.
This feature's availability depends on your subscription plan and role.
Definition: A booking is an access strategy where the user books a parking spot in advance (within the day limit) by using the calendar interface. The user selects a specific schedule within the hours authorized by their access service and the availability of the parking lot. The user will be able to enter the parking lot within the booking period.
Why should I book a parking spot?
If you benefit from an access of the "Booking" type (BOOK), you must create a booking to be able to access the parking lot. Without booking, you will not be able to enter the parking lot (no remote control showing up in the app, no opening of the gate with licence plate recognition or with code, etc.).

How to book a parking spot?
There are two options to book a parking spot: through the software or the app.
Book a parking spot through the Izix software
1. Click on "My accesses" in the menu on the left of your screen
2. Click on the button "Create a booking" to the right of your booking access
3. Navigate from one week to another by clicking the buttons above the calendar
4. Select the time slots you want to book. Note that it is possible to book several time slots at once.

- Full day: click on "Select all day" above the desired day

5. Click on the "Validate" icon at the bottom right of the screen to confirm your reservation.
6. You now have the right to access the parking lot during the whole validity period of your booking.
The remote control will appear in your mobile application but will only become active when the schedule of your booking starts.
Book a spot through the Izix app
- Make sure your internet connection is turned on and open your Izix app.
- Click on "Calendar" in the menu at the bottom of your screen
- Select in the calendar the day for which you wish to make a booking.
- Click on "+" at the bottom right of your screen
- Choose the access you want to use
- Select the booking period
- Press "Confirm".
You now have the right to access the parking lot during the whole validity period of your booking.
The remote control will appear in your mobile application but will only become active when the schedule of your booking starts.
