How to log in using password or passwordless sign-in code (Magic Auth)

To access the latest login methods, make sure you're using version 6.0.6 or later of the Izix app. You can check your app version by clicking the question mark icon in the top right corner of the app. If your version is outdated, please update it via your device's app store.

1. Choosing Between Password and Passwordless Authentication: Which Method Works Best for You?

While a password-based method is simple and familiar, it comes with challenges such as forgotten passwords or weak password risks. The sign-in code offers increased security and a smoother experience. By default, both password and passwordless authentication (sign-in code) options are available to all Izix customers.

If you forget your password, you can easily reset it. However, if you prefer not to use a password at all, you can choose the sign-in code as an alternative login method.

Izix offers three unique authentication methods, with a Single Sign-On (SSO) option available if configured. The login methods available to you may vary depending on your organization’s specific settings, and you may have access to one of these three. Regardless of the login method, the following two generic login screens will always appear:

a. Password

b. Magic sign-in code

Even if you've previously set up a password, you can still choose to log in using the sign-in code, provided that your organization allows this method.
