How to log in using a password or a passwordless sign-in code (Magic Auth)

Izix offers two default login options. If you do not want to remember a password, you can use a passwordless sign-in code.

This article is intended for Izix users.

Available login methods can depend on your organization’s settings (for example, SSO may be enabled).

1. Overview

You can log in to Izix using either a password or a passwordless sign-in code (a one-time code sent to your email). This article explains both options and how to reset your password if needed.

 

2. Choose your login method

  • Password: best if you want a consistent login method and you do not mind remembering a password.
  • Sign-in code (Magic Auth): best if you prefer not to use a password. You receive a one-time code by email.

Depending on your organization, you may see both options, or only one. If your organization uses SSO, you must use SSO.

 

3. Log in (step-by-step)

Password

    1. Open the Izix app (or the Izix login page).
    2. Enter your email address.
    3. Select Password (if asked).
    4. Enter your password.3_ Login screen-2
    5. Tap Sign in.

Passwordless sign-in code (Magic Auth)

    1. Open the Izix app (or the Izix login page).
    2. Enter your email address.
    3. Select Sign-in code / Magic sign-in code.3_ Login screen email sign in-3
    4. Check your inbox for the email with your code.
    5. Enter the code, then tap Log in.3_1 Login magic auth-1-2

4. Reset your password

Request a password reset

    1. On the login screen, click Forgot your password? (or Reset password).
    2. Enter your email address.
    3. Confirm to send the reset email.

Complete the password reset

    1. Open the password reset email.
    2. Click the reset link.
    3. Set a new password and confirm.
    4. Return to Izix and log in with your new password.

 

5. If your organization uses SSO

If your organization has SSO enabled, you must use the SSO login method. In that case, you cannot log in with a custom password, and password reset may not be available in Izix.
