1. What is the credits overview?
Depending on your organisation's configuration, certain parking facilities and access points may require credits for reservations. The administrator sets a Wallet Policy that determines how many Izix credits are automatically allocated to users for a specific time frame. Additionally, users can add credits themselves through a Stripe integration. When a parking spot is booked/accessed, the corresponding Izix credits are deducted from the user's wallet.
To help users track their credit usage, Izix has created a credits overview. This feature allows users to view all credit transactions, including the amount deducted and the corresponding time period.
2. How to use the credits history?
The credits history shows:
- Type of transaction:
- Charge: when they have deducted credits from their wallet by making a reservation.
- Refill: when credits have been added to the wallet.
- Refund: when they have been refunded after cancelling a reservation.
- Date of transaction: This indicates the specific date on which the reservation was made.
- Reservation period: This indicates the date, time, and duration of the reservation, which may also include future bookings.
- Reservation/Payment ID
- Payment method
It is also possible to add additional credits via the Stripe integration from this overview.
The date of the transaction may differ from the reservation period. Regardless of when the transaction occurs and the replenishment frequency (weekly, monthly, or yearly), Izix ensures that credits are deducted from the appropriate period.
For example, if you make a reservation today for a time next week, the transaction date will reflect today’s date, while the reservation period will indicate the date and time of next week. If your replenishment interval is set to weekly, the credits will be deducted from your wallet for the upcoming week rather than from your current balance.
